Humans vs Zombies (HvZ) is an afternoon of escaping undead, completing objectives, and making friends who may save your life.

🧟 Game Rules in short (more details day-of)
- Participants are either humans or zombies. Each player starts off as a human, unless they volunteer to be one of the Original Zombies.
- When a zombie tags a human, the human becomes a zombie too!
- Humans fend off zombies with Nerf darts and approved thrown soft objects, stunning them temporarily while they make their escape
- Humans win by completing missions. Zombies win by turning all the humans!

Running outfit, plus a warm layer if it will get chilly
🎒 What to Bring
- Sunscreen
- Bandana if you have one
- Water! (though we have some if you forget)
- Nerf blaster and darts (optional) - bring-your-own-blaster welcome, as long as it can be capped at 120fps (we will measure for you day of). We have some blasters available for players to borrow, but you'll have much more fun with your own! For info on what blasters are allowed, see the full https://hvzsf.com/Rules/
- Extra socks (optional) - have socks you never wear because they're missing their pair or worn out? As long as they're clean, bring 'em to be duct-taped into throwable "sock grenades" to stun zombies!
We meet on the SFSU Fine Arts gallery patio (37°43'18.8"N 122°28'46.3"W). Bandanas and other equipment will be handed out at 1 pm, game starts at 1:30 pm sharp. Latecomers won't get to play.
There will be a series of 4-5 missions for the humans as the zombie horde grows. You're welcome to leave when you have to, but don't forget to arrive before 1pm! If you do you'll get into the raffle for special in-game prizes like antidotes!
