AN ODE TO EVERYDAY OBJECTS COME ON BY FOR AN AFTERNOON INTRODUCTION TO OIL PAINTING LED BY KAILYN PERRY. WE’LL PULL INSPIRATION FROM COLLECTED VINTAGE TREASURES SOURCED BY LEAH AT PETALS & JACKETS. GUESTS WILL CHOOSE FROM ONE OF THREE PRESET VIGNETTES AND KAILYN WILL GUIDE THE WORKSHOP FROM SKETCH TO FINAL TOUCHES. YOU’LL LEAVE WITH A NEW PIECE PERFECTLY FIT FOR YOUR CLOSET, POWDER ROOM, OR WHEREVER YOUR SPACE NEEDS A CUTE GLOW UP. THIS THREE-HOUR WORKSHOP INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS, WINE + NA BEVS. About the artist: Kailyn was born and raised in Massachusetts and holds a BFA in Painting and Art History, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. She currently lives and works in Chicago, where you can find her painting outside with her french easel. You can join her for any of her oil painting classes this summer- where she teaches beginners the techniques of painting and color theory throughout Chicago’s beautiful parks and conservatories.
