Check in starts at 7:30 AM at UNM on Johnson Field. Please plan to carpool! Inspection by ABQ Pride at 9:15, step-off time at 10:00 AM. Bathrooms are very limited and it will be HOT- we will have sunscreen, water, Gatorade ,and snacks, but VERY limited spots on the float for sitting during the wait and during the Parade itself. Please consider your accessibility needs in relation to seats and restroom access- the closest restroom from the staging point is Walgreens on Girard, and none once the Parade starts. I recommend bringing a camping chair for the wait. We will have butterfly wings for everyone to wear <3 and swag/candy to hand out to parade goers. We will pull off into the defunct Walmart parking lot on San Mateo after the parade- this is an ideal place to leave cars to shuttle people back to UNM.
