Hey everyone! We're gathering in July to discuss Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, with Jackie Powell, Joe Baker, and others facilitating the experience. While having some knowledge of the book will be useful, the purpose of our gathering is to commune with our natural world and share meaningfully with each other. While subject to change, the intention of this gathering is less traditional "book club" and more like spending time listening to what nature has to teach us, in this moment. All are welcome. We'll meet at the picnic area near Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park. As always, we'll be doing a vegetarian potluck. Feel free to bring a dish, snack, or treat to share, and drop a comment if you'd like to let folks know what you're bringing. We're committed to not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. You do not need to finish the entire book to attend. Whether you've read every page, a few chapters, or simply want to join the conversation, we'd love to have you there. 😊
