The Great Trybal Murder Mystery!

Trybal Tammy lives just outside of New York City and takes the train in and out of Grand Central to attend events in and around Manhattan. She goes to dozens of events each month to spend time with new and old members of the Trybalfam, and often plans dates and other activities for the days she will already be in the city. Tammy came to NYC last weekend to attend a Trybal Ambassador event and allowed extra time to meet up with a date prior to the event. Since she was cramming a lot into the day, and most of her scheduled activities were already at Grand Central, she made plans to meet a date and later friends all at GCT for convenience. Unfortunately, Tammy never left Grand Central. At 11:54 PM her lifeless body was found within New York’s iconic landmark. Thankfully, Tammy was super active on social media and she updated her socials frequently throughout the day. The Police are baffled as to what happened, so it is up to you to help solve her case!
Event Details:
-You will receive an email a few days prior to 2/3/24 with your team information and the exact meeting location.
-We will all meet at Grand Central at 1:30 pm
-When you arrive your team will receive a printout of the murder mystery, and Mardi Gras beads. The Mardi Gras beads will represent your team color, this will also be included in the pre-event email in case you want to dress in your team color!
- Once all team members are present you will check in with the host. Your team will have 90 minutes from the check-in time to run around Grand Central collecting clues.
- Around 3:00 pm (depending on what time the teams physically leave for the hunt) the hunt will end (end location will be printed on the hunt) and teams will have an additional 10 minutes to decipher a word jumble and figure out who killed poor Tammy before turning in their papers for grading!
Teams will be assigned on 1/31/24. If you would like to be on a team with friends, please let the host know by 1/30/24, otherwise, you will be randomly assigned a team!
This event is for YJP's 21-42. If you are outside of this age range and would still like to participate, please email the host. We cannot guarantee those outside of this age range will be able to participate, but we will do our best to accommodate.
**Note: This event is rain or shine. In the event of snow, the weather will be assessed and the event may potentially be postponed**

After-event bonus option: Some attendees will be heading to Wine Fest with Jews & Brews (completely separate from Trybal Gatherings, just a bonus event if you're interested). We are going to Wine Fest at 6 pm (session 2) and you are welcome to join us! We will be leaving Grand Central as a group to head over to the fest.
