Join us for some learning and limoncello as we explore the concept of the Garden of Eden/Paradise in Jewish textual traditions as well as in art and the popular imagination, all while enjoying homemade limoncello and delicious limoncello tiramisu*!

Is the Garden of Eden a physical place? Is it the place souls go in the afterlife? What is the tree of life? What is the tree of knowledge and what is the nature of the Adam and Eve's sin? What do Jewish texts say about all this? How have artists imagined paradise? All this and more will be explored in our learning session. No pre-requisite knowledge is assumed.

*Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be served as well.
