Hola! Sharing houseboat details for this year - let me know if you're interested! Limited Spots will be given on a first paid first reserved basis (etransfer to jglaspell1@gmail.com).
Dates: Sep 16th 8:30am (Tuesday) to Sep 23rd 12pm (Monday). I figured most people might not want to stay a whole week so I'm including a pricing option for the first half or second half of the trip which would end/start on Sep 20th morning (Friday) in peterborough rather than at the Egan Houseboat location. If someone does a half trip they would need to include plans for transport from a different location - happy to discuss options.

There are three very small "double" sized beds - two people can squeeze on one if they like each other - hence the price discrimination below.
Pricing: Includes the cost of renting the floating cottage, gasoline for the whole trip, propane, ice, lock pass for the trent severn etc. I ran some simulations on what break even costs would look like and allocated these per person amounts:
First Half $285.00
First Half Couple (Bed Shared) $235.00
Second Half $420.00
Second Half Couple (Bed Shared) $340.00
Full Week $560.00
Full Week Couple (Bed Shared) $460.00
If there's a lot of interest and excess money I'll buy some booze for the trip, if less I'll invite out some family members and take on the burden of the cost.
Trip plan would be to meet at egan houseboats on pigeon lake at 8:30 on the 16th, load up the houseboat and set sail right away. Travel upstream via Bobcaygion and Fenelon falls towards Lake Simcoe (not the whole way). We would arrive back at Egan on Friday morning to do a person swap and then head further downstream through buckhorn and Burleigh falls. September is the best time to do a trip like this due to the lack of bugs and cooler weather.
