SPEAKERS Amy Aniobi is a showrunner and critically acclaimed writer/director/producer best known for her work on the Emmy-nominated, NAACP-award winning comedy series INSECURE (HBO), starring Issa Rae. Aniobi most recently served as showrunner for SURVIVAL OF THE THICKEST (Netflix), where she also directed six episodes, earning her multiple NAACP nominations for Outstanding Directing. Aniobi is the founder of production company, SuperSpecial, which produces short films and industry events, and runs the creative talent incubator, TRIBE. Brett Dismuke, an entertainment industry professional with over 31 years of experience, currently serves as General Manager/Head of Content of AMC Networks brands ALLBLK and WE TV. A USC graduate, Dismuke has worked at Motown, PolyGram, Universal, Hollywood Records, UrbanWorks, First Look, and Image Entertainment, overseeing and producing films and series and supervising projects with Jay-Z, Brian McKnight, Mary J. Blige, Mike Epps, The Cosby Show, UFC, and award-winning independent films. RSVP now as space is limited!
