Join us for Before the Last Arrival, a public art and wine tasting evening celebrating the closing of Before Arrival at SPACS. For this special evening, we are bringing together contemporary art, wine, and storytelling through a sommelier-guided tasting led by Xin Feng, a New York-based wine, sake, and beverage educator. Inspired by the exhibition’s eight participating artists, Xin Feng will present eight selected wines, each thoughtfully paired with one artist’s work and practice. Through taste, aroma, and conversation, the tasting offers a new way to experience Before Arrival before the exhibition comes to a close. Before Arrival is a group exhibition exploring suspension, transition, and the uncertain space before resolution. Featuring works by Adi Oren, Arno Kortschot, Chié Shimizu, José Capaz, Jocelyn Tsaih, Julia Wheatley, Marina Chisty, and Sona Lee, the exhibition invites viewers to linger in a state of openness, ambiguity, and becoming. Come for the wine, stay for the art, and join us for one final evening before arrival.
