On August 8, 2023, 6-8 pm we are bringing nounish art vibes to the Wynwood art district with a celebration of nounish art for the 2nd birthday of NounsDAO including live art creation with Cory Van Lew! coryvanlew.com
Can’t be in Miami on August 8 (cuz it’s hot, I get it) we’ll also be streaming Cory’s artist talk via The Noun Square Twitter spaces and YouTube with cohost TIMEpieces!
And of yes, there will be a POAP of this amazing Messhup piece, a party version of Art Haus’ first commissioned droposal. Plus some POAP swag! We love a POAP with amazing art. And this POAP might even serve as an allowlist for…... something.
Plus pizza courtesy of our nounish frens at PizzaDAO, and some healthy snacks from FoodNouns (cuz Cheffo is making me get healthy stuff) and a cake from FloriNouns. (any predictions on the cake design?)

“BUT Prof – why not do this in October or November when it’s not 100 degrees?” I didn’t pick the date – the Nounders did. Blame Punk4156. But 8/8 does have a nice ring. So there’s only 88 tickets. Better snap them up!

Event Schedule
6 pm: Arrivals on the noggle red carpet where NounFungible Nikki will ask “who’s noggles are you wearing?” So BYON and bring your favorite noggles. ⌐◨-◨ We’ll have some of Big Shot Toy Works’ Lo-Fi Noggles on hand for those who are noggle-less. And maybe even a few of the Moti's.
Mix & mingle with the nounsfolk while viewing amazing art on the Hodler Gallery screens and the amazing canvases of Cory Van Lew. YES – that Cory Van Lew of TIMEpieces and Rug Radio fame. With this on display: https://twitter.com/coryvanlew/status/1672999735928528896?s=20
6:30 pm: Enjoy an artist talk with Cory as Prof Werder inquires about his nounish art journey. We want to know more about why and how these ⌐◨-◨ found their way into Cory’s art. We’ll be streaming this chat on The Noun Square Nouniversary spaces with TIMEpieces co-hosting! But it will be much better in person so come to Miami anyway.
7-8 pm: Enjoy pizza from PizzaDAO, snacks from FoodNouns and FloriNouns, and sip some non-alchoholic beverages. Plus a cash bar for the other stuff – unless someone suddenly sponsors some wine. (Hey Gary Vee – Empathy Wines sounds nounish, don’t you think?)

Art Credits: The one and only MESSHUP for the art piece with poster design by Toady Hawk. (who re-did Prof’s first draft quite quickly because when Josh Fisher saw it, he nearly had a stroke. Note to self: do it badly on purpose and someone will re-do it. Good to know. Beware of sharks.)
