LGBTQ+ Parents & Caregivers Community Circle Up - This circle is specifically creating space for LGBTQ+ parents and caregivers raising and supporting children to be in community with one another. As LGBTQ+ parents, we bring our own histories and experiences around identity, safety, family, belonging, and survival into our relationships with our children. Our experiences can give us wisdom, but our children are also living their own stories in a different time and context. This circle asks: What does it mean to be an LGBTQ+ parent? How do our own experiences shape how we understand their identity and safety? What fears do we carry? What wisdom can we share? And how can we support one another so none of us has to navigate these questions alone? This is not a training or a space where someone has all the answers. It is a community circle rooted in storytelling, listening, reflection, and relationship. Parents supporting parents. Families learning from families.
