If you want to join for the cooking, come at 6pm! To just join for dinner and the reading, come at 8pm! Tonight we explore Jewish cooking from around the world! A week before the event, you all will vote on a Jewish cookbook from outside of the U.S. to explore the Jewish cuisine of that area of the world (this month's options are India, Italy, Syria and Curacao). We'll then be cooking a dinner based on recipes from the chosen book, and reading about the region's Jews while we eat.
