Adrar Inu translates to “My Mountains” in Tamazight. It is the title and departure of this exhibition’s intents.
Join us for the opening reception on July 11th at 6:00 PM , All welcome✨
For me, Adrar Inu is about movement, memory, and what we carry with us when we leave home. The title is inspired by my family’s journey and by the stories of departure, belonging, and return that continue to shape my understanding of place.
I think of moving itself as a medium, with how it travels across countries, languages, and contexts, and how it reshapes what we make and how we make it.
The artists in this exhibition each explore those ideas in their own way: through mediums, subjects, and personal histories. Together, their works reflect journeys across countries, languages, disciplines, and generations.
We hope you’ll join us, Collectif Defar (Anaïs & Awa), for our second art show alongside our beautiful selection of artists. Come experience the work in person, sip and munch, share a conversation, and celebrate another opening with us.
