Understanding Homelessness in Austin: From the Inside Out
What is it actually like to navigate homelessness in Austin, and why has addressing it been so difficult for individuals experiencing homelessness, service providers, city leaders, and the broader community?
WHO: Lyric Wardlow is a writer, speaker, advocate, and communications professional whose work centers homelessness, storytelling, and systems change. She serves as the Communications and Public Policy Manager at ECHO, the lead agency for the Austin/Travis County Homelessness Response System, where she helps translate complex policy and system issues into accessible, human-centered communication.
