Lit Out Loud is back with another exciting event! Join us in the backyard of dear friend books as Khaya Fraites, an award-winning voice and film actor, narrates a selection from her debut novella, RIP, LOL. RIP, LOL is a coming-of-age novella about grief, loss, and family, following NYU student Willow Davis as she deals with a death in the family and navigates her future, with a focus on Gen Z life in Brooklyn and Richmond. Khaya has narrated a number of titles for Penguin Random House, Recorded Books, and Macmillan Publishing. Her most notable work includes Graphic Audio’s adaptation of The Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros.
