New to Camberville

New to Camberville is a free weekly newsletter for people settling into the Cambridge and Somerville area. I send an email every Thursday with upcoming events, a welcome series on how to make friends adult and build community as an adult, and now, host in-person meetups for newcomers. I moved to the area in July 2021 without knowing a single person here, and five years later, I couldn't be happier to call this area home. The meetup is here to offer you a headstart on that same friendship, community, and belonging. Here's what I'm currently planning: a short welcome, a round of small group introductions, and some tables grouped by interests (nature and outdoors, music and dance, games, sports and fitness, books and movies, etc.). Show up on your own or bring a friend/partner/roommate. Or someone you'd like to become better friends with! The event is free but RSVP encouraged to confirm capacity. Please plan to purchase a food or drink item from ROOTED Armory Café to support the venue for having us!
