Join IPF Atid Bay Area and Jewtina for an evening exploring Latin-Jewish identity, history, and community during Latino Heritage Month. Latin America has long been home to diverse and vibrant Jewish communities, shaped by migration, local cultures, and connections across the Jewish world. Together, we’ll explore the histories and experiences that have shaped Latin-Jewish life, the relationship between Jewish communities in Latin America and Israel, and the ways migration to the United States and Israel continues to transform these communities. We’ll also look toward the future: What does Latin-Jewish identity look like as communities become increasingly interconnected across borders? How might Latin Jewry shape Jewish communal life in the United States, Israel, Latin America, and beyond? Join us for an evening of conversation, community, and an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and evolving story of Latin-Jewish life. Dinner and drinks will be provided.
