Help fight food hunger in the Birchwood neighborhood by buying dahlia tubers for a low cost! Who: This is a fundraiser for three local groups, the Bellingham Food Bank, the Birchwood Food Desert Fighters, and Twin Sisters Mobile Market. All three groups fight food hunger in Bellingham’s only food desert, the Birchwood neighborhood. What: Local neighbors are collecting dahlia tubers to sell at low costs ($1-$3 per tuber). 100% of donations will go towards the partners above! Parking: Biking or walking encouraged! We have some parking available on-site. If no parking is available, park at Birchwood Elementary School and walk ~5 mins.
