Queer Salsa Social: A Friendsgiving Feast
Join us for our FIRST SOCIAL AT A DANCE STUDIO!
Come enjoy a nice warm friendsgiving meal and dance with us. We're deeply grateful to each one of you who has supported and continues to support Queer Latin Dance SD! We figured we'd throw our first event at the dance studio to express our gratitude and appreciation for the queer community. Be sure to RSVP and join us for this very special Queer Friendsgiving Fiesta!
This is a free donation-based event organized by Queer Latin Dance SD in collaboration with DJ Basico. It will be a small and cozy Friendsgiving potluck-style gathering for the queer community. Come celebrate and dance to Salsa & Bachata music.
The space has a max occupancy of 20 people, but can squeeze in about 50! As long as you’re okay sharing the space and being packed like sardines with other queers.
Cost: Free, donation based (please contribute whatever feels comfortable)
Level: Intermediate-Beginner Friendly Salsa & Bachata Social. IF YOU'RE A BEGINNER AND COMFORTABLE WITH JUST WATCHING FOLKS DANCE, FEAR NOT, YOUR PRESENCE ALONE IS APPRECIATED.
What to Wear: Come as you are! (Latin dance shoes recommended)
What to Bring: A dish that can be shared with about 4-6 people
What to Expect: A fun night of Salsa and Bachata with amazing people
