Theatre Night: Lysistrata Toga Party

ᵔ▿ᵔIntroducing Theatre Night, a new recurring event at Syzygy! These events will entail a theme party where we do a table reading for a related play. The theme for our first Theatre Night will be Lysistrata Toga Party! Lysistrata is an Ancient Greek comedy about the women of Greece starting a sex strike in order to get the men to stop fighting wars. Reid will give an intro about the historical importance of Lysistrata, we will do a reading of the play, then the rest of the night is a toga party! You are highly encouraged to bring wine and to wear a toga (bed sheets are perfectly acceptable).
