Bring your energy, your sense of adventure, and comfortable shoes you trust. --------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone! The Double Crosstown Trail is happening next week! Here's some more info: - We will meet at the "Observation Deck" next to parking lot marked as "Nike Missile Site SF-59L" on Google Maps at 9 AM and leave shortly after. - We will breifly stop for a quick lunch around halfway through (probably at a grocery store). (But bringing snacks is a always good idea) - You are free to join and leave at any time. If you are not joining at the start, it's best if you coordiante with me. How to get to the starting point: With public transit: - The starting point is a short walk from Muni line 58. Line 58 intersects Bart in Daly City and the M line in Stonestown (you can also make it work with the K and L lines if you add a few mibnutes walking). With your car: - Parking at the starting point is unrestricted, but you have to come back to your car. Public transit from the end point takes about 90 minutes (Muni + Bart + Muni), Uber/Lyft/Waymo takes 40 minutes and costs ~> $ 50. - If you are driving and are willing to carpool/pick up people, I encourage you to do so as everyone benefits (including the environment) :) Rideshare: - Depends on where you live. It gives you the freedom to come back home directly from North Beach. - Similarly to above, if you are planning on taking rideshare and willing to split the ride, I encourage you to do so. I will let you all self-organize with regards to transportation. :) I can't wait to meet you all!
