kakakaraoke mo yan.... (new york activation)

hi friends in new york ^___^ come celebrate & activate my exhibition with me <3 there will be beer, filipino snacks, singing, and third-world internet! for over the past year i've been working on KAKAKOMPYUTER MO YAN – a filipino internet art exhibition in form of a neverending karaoke party. i collaborated with over twenty artists to bring new browser-based works to life: shrines, games, poetry, interactive fiction, movies, data center crocodiles, and more. 𝓌𝒶𝓁𝓀𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 + 𝓀𝒶𝓇𝒶𝑜𝓀𝑒.. i'll talk through the art pieces (which range from shrines, generative forums and (cyber)squatters) and then we'll have fun with the built-in karaoke! (feel free to send in song requests) 𝒶𝒸𝓉𝒾𝓋𝒶𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃... we'll leave some beer (or c2) bottles, snack wrappers, etc around the karaoke setup to show it's been used and 'partied' around.. feel free to bring some offerings if youd like :p theres limited space so if yr a friend pls txt me / use your full name so i know who you are!
