MATCHA & THRIFT: EAST BAY EDITION ✨ the first one. you asked for it. these are my favorite places to thrift share with your friends ❤️ PYOA (pick your own adventure): come for all, come for some parts, challenge by choice (and wallet$). Public transportation accessible for those who hate/can’t driving. Approx. 4 hours long to give time to look around. Meet at 1:45 (for 15 min matcha buffer). Start at 2 The route: Yume Mori Matcha — 2319 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley fuel up first Crossroads Berkeley — 2338 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley across the street. one of their biggest locations 14 min walk//4 min drive (0.6m) Anastasia’s Vintage — 2360 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley massive racks, men’s and women’s in separate storefronts. Potential matcha (8 grams) or foodie stop? tbd 10-15 min walk BART: Downtown Berkeley → Rockridge (one stop, ~5 min) Crossroads Rockridge — 5601 College Ave, Oakland the neighborhood staple. one more round. Ending with one of my favorite spots: The Wardrobe Project : 5660 College Ave, Rockridge we’re ending here. curated vintage, Y2K, antique jewelry, local artists, $1 and $5 bins, etc. 11am to 7pm, free entry
