Unleash your inner artist with CreativiTEA, a unique workshop that blends proven creativity techniques with the meditative art of painting with tea. Throughout this fun and engaging session, we'll dive into practical ideation and sketching methods used by leading innovation companies like IDEO and Google, designed to get your creative juices flowing and build confidence in your artistic process. We'll then transform ordinary tea into an extraordinary artistic medium, guiding you to create your own distinct artwork. You'll leave with a fresh toolkit of creative strategies applicable to both personal and professional projects, along with one or two original pieces of tea-infused art. Facilitator: Maya (Maryam) Tohidi is an artist and creative technologist based in San Francisco. She has 20+ years of professional experience as a user experience and innovation expert, helping multidisciplinary teams innovate at companies like Google and Meta. But at heart she is a visual artist. She uses a wide range of artistic mediums and practices (painting, photography, sculpture and mixed-media explorations) to express herself through art, and is passionate about helping others get in touch with their inner artists.
