Ever wonder what that one lyric in Chappell Roan’s banger Naked in Manhattan—“like that one sex scene that’s in Mulholland Drive”—actually means? Now’s your chance to find out 👀 ✨Welcome to the inaugural Movies on Mes, a summer movie series presented by the one and only Creative Cafe!✨ Before the screening, which will start a little after 8pm, we’ll spend some time diving into director David Lynch’s vision for Mulholland Drive, its lasting impact on modern cinema, and why it felt like the perfect first film for Movies on Mes. There will be snacks (fresh popcorn, of course) and drinks to enjoy throughout, but feel free to bring your favorite movie munchies or contribute what you can to help support planning and future screenings.
