It's MAY DAY! And we are celebrating RESTAURANT WORKERS! 🎉
May 1st, 2023 marks the celebration of International Workers Day AND the first increase to the tipped minimum wage for DC workers.
Join us from 6pm-9pm on the second floor of Artemis restaurant. We will have food, drink specials, games and DJ Mezkal will be spinning dance tunes all night!
Entry is FREE! But donations to the the Restaurant Worker Mutual Aid fund are welcome via Venmo (@DMV_RWMA)
*COVID NOTE*
For the safety of our community we ask that everyone be masked with N95 or above masks while indoors. Masks will be provided. There is an outdoor patio and doors will be open for inside ventilation. Please stay home if you are not feeling well.
*ACCESSIBILITY*
Unfortunately The Artemis is not ADA accessible and only has stairs to enter the restaurant and go to the second floor area. There 20 steps to get to the second floor from the ground level.

¡Es PRIMERO DE MAYO! ¡Y estamos celebrando a los TRABAJADORES DE RESTAURANTES! 🎉
El 1 de mayo de 2023 marca la celebración del Día Internacional de los Trabajadores Y el primer aumento del salario mínimo con propinas para los trabajadores de DC.
Únase a nosotros de 6:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en el segundo piso del restaurante Artemis. ¡Tendremos comida, bebidas especiales, juegos y DJ Mezkal tocará melodías de baile toda la noche!
¡La entrada es GRATIS! Pero las donaciones al fondo de ayuda mutua para trabajadores de restaurantes son bienvenidas a través de Venmo (@DMV_RWMA)

Por la seguridad de nuestra comunidad, pedimos que todos usen máscaras N95 o superiores mientras estén en interiores. Se proporcionarán máscaras. Hay un patio al aire libre y las puertas estarán abiertas para la ventilación interior. Por favor, quédese en casa si no se siente bien.

Desafortunadamente, The Artemis no es accesible según la ADA y solo tiene escaleras para ingresar al restaurante e ir al área del segundo piso. Hay 20 escalones para llegar al segundo piso desde el nivel del suelo.
