Welcome to Philly Yid's first leyen-krayz! This is the beginner's group. We will be reading stories from Yidishe Kinder Giml by S. Yefroikin. For this group you need to be able to read Yiddish letters, but don't worry about whether you can understand what you're reading—that's what we'll be working on doing together! 
We will take turns reading and translating out-loud, with the help of a dictionary and our khaveyrim. I will project the text and dictionary onto the TV, but please bring your own device to read from because there will be no paper copies. 
Donation is suggested but not required, only because the dictionary is pay-by-credit and we'll be using my account. FYI, a cat lives in the house. Also we don't have that many chairs so if you're able please bring one :) Biz bald!
