Roosevelt Island Walking Tour!

Roosevelt Island is often referred to as NYC's hidden gem or according to Trip Advisor "An oasis of peace amid Manhattan’s hustle and bustle". Let's take a break from the hectic pace of the city and spend a few hours in tranquility, taking in stunning views of the city while learning about the incredibly rich history of Roosevelt Island! **NOTE - This event is for yjp's ages 21-44** I am excited to offer two meeting point options: Option 1: Meet the group in Manhattan at the Tramway Plaza at 1:40 pm sharp. We will meet in the plaza downstairs and head up to the tram as a group. The cost to take the tram is the same as a subway, it is not included, you will be responsible for your own tram fare. We will take the tram over to the Island as a group, so please be on time! Option 2: Meet the group on the Island in front of the Visitor Center located at the Tramway Plaza on the Island at 2 pm sharp. The tour will begin at the Visitor Center and end at Grannie Annie's where we have a reservation to order food/drinks ala cart at the bar. No food or drinks are included in the event, anything you purchase will be your financial responsibility. Yes, I know 4/27 is during Passover, the bar will have plenty of Passover-friendly options to order if you are keeping Passover. Attending the bar portion is entirely optional. If you would prefer to skip the tour and just meet us at Grannie Annies, our reservation is for 3:30 pm, all are welcome, please note this when you register! **Important notes: We will be doing a lot of walking, so please wear comfortable shoes! I also highly suggest bringing a bottle of water.** ***The event is free to attend, but you will be responsible for tram/subway fees and anything you choose to purchase for yourself during the event*** I will be conducting the tour, please be mindful of this if you're trying to contact me during the event!
