seek to foster ties of solidarity with the Palestinian cause in a manner true to its metaphysical nature.

This event is the first of the “Muqaddimah” pop-ups — an ongoing series of conversations that focus on Tajdid, or intellectual reconstruction. Tajdid is the idea of gifting freshness to the breath of the Muslims, seeking to anchor ourselves in the ethical values located in revelation, as we battle off secular death, capitalism, and intellectual stagnation, while mooring our nafs and soul vertically with the heavenly realms. Each topic will explore a new crisis, a new balā, that afflicts the Ummah, as we draw into the intellectual geographies from Samarqand to West Africa to Palestine to Anatolia to the gangetic plains of India and Punjab.
