We're excited to kick off our Summer Social Series next week Thursday! This series is meant to gather our community to hang, socialize and enjoy some fun programming at our LES location through the summer. With Broome/Orchard streets closed via the City's Open Streets program, we will also get to enjoy the warm summer nights outside our shop during these events. June's Programming: - For Pride we'll be make-shifting an open air queer inspired line dancing lesson outside our shop on Broome street led by Emily Singer! We'll learn a few easy dances then groove together. - This event will also be co-hosted with my latest personal project called Friends of Friends, a new social gathering curated by humans where new connections start with friendships! A host invites their people & everyone brings a friend. So plus ones are highly encouraged for this event! Dust off your boots. Text that friend. And come enjoy a summer night with TCP. Schedule: 6-7PM Drinks in the shop to warm up the hips. Socialize with new and old friends. 7-8PM Line dancing outside our shop on Broome st! (We'll have stools to sit outside in case you rather watch) Please note RSVPs will get you a stamp for drinks in the shop. :) Plus ones don't need to RSVP. In the event the weather doesn't cooperate we will have a plan B to make sure the dancing still happens! See you all soon <3 About Emily Singer, @emilysinger: Emily Singer caught the country dance bug in 2023 and has been dancing nonstop since. She loves the freedom, joy, and playfulness that line dancing brings, both when a dance finally clicks and especially when she's messing it up. Emily has taught at the New York City Round-Up, Buck Wild, Do Si Don'tcha, and Burstin' Boots, and hosts monthly advanced line dance workshops in New York. She lives in Gowanus, Brooklyn, with her dog, Eggo, and spends her days working as a freelance marketing strategist and copywriter.
