Shadow Work Through Tarot & Poetry
Join us at Feybl under the Capricorn Full Moon for an evening of sacred self-inquiry through tarot, shadow work, and poetry.
Capricorn invites us into the realm of mastery — our ambitions, responsibilities, boundaries, and the structures we've built to navigate the world. At its highest expression, Capricorn teaches us discipline, integrity, and the quiet power of commitment. It reminds us that meaningful growth is rarely instant. It is earned through patience, perseverance, and devotion to what truly matters.
Yet in its shadow, Capricorn can become burdened by the need to achieve, perform, or prove. It can convince us that our worth is measured by what we produce, how much we endure, or how successfully we carry the weight of our obligations. In the pursuit of strength, we may forget how to receive support. In the pursuit of success, we may lose touch with the softer, more vulnerable parts of ourselves.
In this workshop, we'll explore where achievement has become identity, where responsibility has become self-sacrifice, and where the pressure to "keep it together" has left us disconnected from our own humanity.
Through three guided prompts aligned with the Capricorn Full Moon, participants will pull tarot cards as mirrors for reflection and use them as inspiration for poetic responses.
Together, we'll examine the expectations we've inherited, the standards we've imposed upon ourselves, and the foundations that are ready to be rebuilt with greater compassion and authenticity.
No writing or tarot experience is necessary.
Bring a deck if you have one (or borrow from the space), along with a journal and a willingness to explore what lies beneath the roles, responsibilities, and achievements that shape your life.
