Mirrorball is a Southern California dream pop duo, Alexandra Johnstone and Scott Watson, blending lush, reverb-inflected textures with neo-psychedelia. Their debut single (2019), led to a collaboration with producer Chris Coady (Beach House, DIIV).
Portland based country janglers Cruise Control has presented us an album like a gifted bouquet of vibrant blooms, showing their hand at vintage tones and sincere songs. Country twang merges with power pop jangle, fuzzy leads and honey sweet harmonies, sounding like the sight of blue sky after weeks of rain. Their new album will be out Sept 12th on Curation.
