During NY Tech Week, the a16z speedrun team is holding a limited set of 1:1 office hours for founders. Each session is designed to give you a focused opportunity to work directly with a16z speedrun partners and operators. We’ll review your product, help you think through your most pressing challenge, or dive into a specific topic based on the day’s theme. What to expect: • A 20-minute 1:1 session with a16z speedrun team member(s) • Feedback tailored to your company, idea, or product • A chance to connect directly, ask questions, and go deep on a specific topic Event Type: Private Office Hours (individual sessions) Who it’s for: Founders (pre-seed to seed) Office Hour Host: Andrew Lee More About Andrew: Andrew Lee invests and advises speedrun companies. As both an investor and former founder, he offers zero-to-one startup advice and fundraising advice to our startups. He has backed nearly 100 teams from 12,000 applicants and committed over $100M to next-generation consumer, AI, and tech startups. Andrew has held key roles at Facebook, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. At Initialized Capital—where he was recruited by Garry Tan and Alexis Ohanian—he advised 140 portfolio companies, drove over $900M in follow-on fundraising, and sourced 27 early-stage investments, including Partiful and Curri. He has been an angel investor for a decade with prominent investments in Casetext (acquired by Thomson Reuters) and Coinbase. Andrew holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College, where he was a Truman Scholar, Rhodes finalist, Udall Scholar, and USA Today All-Academic Team member.
