Set on our newly expanded and renovated garden patio, the opening event will give a taste of what it's like to stay at The Charles: relaxed, refined, and genuinely welcoming to all. Featuring music by DJ Gray Young of Melodic NV. What to expect: 🍷🧀 Local food and Napa Valley wines enjoyed in a beautiful garden setting 🎤 A brief program with remarks from local partners and hotel leadership 🎭✨ Special performances by award-winning San Francisco–based drag artist Katya Smirnoff-Skyy, adding a joyful note of artistry to the day 🏛️🚶‍♂️ Guided group tours highlighting the hotel’s redesign, history, and distinctive guest experience 🎁 Several prize raffle drawings for those in attendance, including a complimentary weekend stay for two guests at the hotel (two nights); tickets to the Napa Valley Wine Train: gourmet express lunch or dinner for two guests (two packages available); and a gourmet lunch experience for four guests at the Gentleman Farmer Bungalow. All raffle proceeds benefit LGBTQ Connection, a Program of Local Nonprofit On the Move. Event schedule: 1:00–2:30 PM – Brunch reception with gourmet buffet and open bar; first performance by Katya Smirnoff-Skyy. Prize raffle and auction benefiting LGBTQ Connection. 2:30–3:00 PM – Public toast and brief program with remarks; prize drawings for attending guests; second performance by Katya Smirnoff-Skyy 3:00–6:00 PM – Guided property tours with hotel staff; 15% off bookings made in person during the opening (March, April, May) 6:00–8:00 PM – Guests may go to dinner on their own between the reception and private after party. 8:00–11:00 PM – Private after party in Downtown Napa (location will only be announced to guests who RSVP to the grand opening and via partner invitations) feat. local legendary DJ Rotten Robbie.
