Once again we are pumped to alert the dessert loving masses to a free, community-led (not licensed and unprofessional) alternative to the paid Cake Picnic™️! We (respectfully) say F the Cake Picnic™️ for being impossible to get tickets to!! The past two times we made a random partiful and were blown away by how many people came together for the love of baking, decorating, and of course eating cake :)
All are welcome, including those who went to the for-profit event the weekend before—we still love ya and want to eat your delicious creations!!!!! Don’t forget a picnic blanket, sunscreen, allergen card, paper plates/forks, lactaid, tums, and of course a DELICIOUS CAKE!!!! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺
What is a renegade cake picnic you ask??
~🍰Bring a cake (we don’t measure your cake dimensions and if you just come with a smile that’s fine too there’s enough for everyone always!!!)
~🥜 Bring a card with labels for ingredients/allergens so everyone can feast safely ;)
~👯👯♂️Come ready to make new friends!! Arguably just as sweet as the confections is how friendly and welcoming everyone has been at these gatherings in the past!!
~🍽️ Bring single use plates, forks, napkins, etc. to share
~🌴🚮 Leave the park as clean as you found it! We’ll probably be around until 4pm-ish.
