Hello friends!
This is Dave Booda, I can't wait to bring my good friend Mikey Pauker back to San Diego for an intimate and beautiful evening of music. Mikey is someone who brings an incredible amount of depth and tenderness to his music. His songs blend Jewish spiritual traditions and his modern music sensibilities. We've played together several times and he is a force of nature!
Our venue is a gorgeous home overlooking the hills of Bonsall and we'll be playing in the round, which means we'll be on stage together, trading off playing our songs and joining in with each other.
Advanced tickets are $25, $35 general admission.
Artist Biographies:
Out of the many characters that Dave Booda plays — satire comedian, essayist, artist, community organizer, group facilitator — “folk musician” might be his most enduring and longest-running act. As a teenager, Dave spent his nights and summers busking in Harvard Square and avidly following the musicians that populated the legendary Boston folk music scene in places like Club Passim.
Over the years, Dave’s music has evolved alongside his life — less about performance, more about connection and truth. His songs weave together humor, longing, philosophy, and the honest reflections of an adventurous life, often delivered with a disarming sincerity and musicianship, drawn from his 20+ years of experience as a touring singer/songwriter.
