— SUMMARY —
Welcome to Broadway, Our Way SF, a one-night only musical theater cabaret concert showcasing the best music that musical theater has to offer.
Over the course of the night, we will perform many numbers from musical theater that we find empowering, heartwarming, sorrowful, and more. These numbers all tell a story worth telling, and most importantly of all, have rocking music that we want to hear.
This is a one-night experience you won’t want to miss.
This is Broadway, our way.
— What is this event? —
This event is a 90-minute long concert comprised of fifteen musical theater numbers, performed by a 6-person live rock pit and 10-person ensemble.
— Why should I go to this show? —
For numerous reasons--because you want to support your friends, because you want to experience a night of talented performers showing off their passion for the art of storytelling through music, or most simply, because you want to see a good show.
This cabaret is almost entirely the work of volunteers who feel passionately about the art. We are not a professional company and we are not making a profit from this show. What we do believe in is the power of giving talented performers an avenue to express themselves, where they wouldn’t ordinarily have the time or energy to. In the words of another theater: we are “low-budget, high effort”.
We’d love to show you what we’ve been putting all this effort towards.
— What if I'm not a huge Broadway fan? —
You definitely don't have to be a Broadway fan to attend! We have selected numbers that can appeal to a wide variety of music tastes and hope you will enjoy no matter how much musical theater you know. Ultimately, this cabaret is a concert with great music--which happens to be theatrical.
If you feel like traditional musical theater is not your style, then give us one night to show you what Broadway can really sound like.
— TIMING —
The show will start promptly at 5:30pm. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the performance. Please arrive at least ten minutes before the show.
There will be no intermission.
— CONCESSIONS —
Concessions sales will be managed by the venue--please do not bring your own beverages. There will be alcoholic beverages for sale.
— TICKETING —
Ticket payment will be handled by Venmoing the linked account @broadwayourwaysf. Ticket prices are $10.
Importantly, you will have to return here to complete your RSVP once you Venmo the account!
Contact us if ticket prices are prohibitive. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
