Join editors Jeff Lutes and Emily Stone for a joyful evening celebrating the release of Proud Outtakes: 50 Heartwarming Stories of Courage and Connection in the Queer Community—featuring inspiring stories from LGBTQ+ authors across six countries. The evening includes live music from the Therapy Sisters, readings from select contributors, opportunities to meet the editors and authors, and plenty of food, drinks, laughter, and good company. Proud Outtakes is more than a collection of stories—it’s a celebration of the resilience, humor, love, and humanity found in queer lives and relationships. Proceeds from all book sales at the launch will benefit I’m From Driftwood, a fantastic nonprofit that has been preserving and sharing LGBTQ+ stories for more than 17 years. Come raise a glass, hear some great stories and music, and celebrate the power of being proudly, wonderfully, unapologetically ourselves! American Sign Language interpreters provided for the deaf community.
