A handful of tech billionaires are building AI that threatens our jobs, our freedom, and humanity itself, while buying off the politicians supposed to keep them in check. Right now, we have a huge opportunity to change the course. Millions of people are paying attention to AI for the first time. Congress is debating whether it’s going to do anything about it. And Big Tech CEOs are acting like they get to decide what happens next. They don’t. We do. We’re showing up outside OpenAI’s NYC headquarters as employees walk in for another day building technology none of us agreed to. This kicks off a national campaign to FREEZE AI NOW, building to a National Walkout on October 20, when thousands of us will walk out demanding a say, a stake, and real safety over this technology.
