Some afternoons deserve to be slow. This is one of them. Booked & Unbusy is a free, outdoor, phone-free reading party and book swap—an afternoon to spread out in the park, crack open a book, and be completely, unapologetically unbusy for a few hours. No agenda (so drop in anytime). No phones. Just good books, good music, and good people doing absolutely nothing in the best possible way. Here's what to expect: 📚 Bring a book, swap a book: come with something you've loved and browse our book swap station. Take one, leave one, or just read the one you brought. All genres welcome, no judgment. 🎵 Music by We, the Moment: the soundtrack to your afternoon, brought to you through their community jukebox. Have a record you love? Bring it. Your contribution to the playlist is welcome. 📵 Phone-free space: we won't be taking your phone away, but we do ask that you tuck it away for the duration of your time here. This afternoon is about being present, not documenting it. 🌿 Free & outdoors: find your patch of grass, bring a blanket, settle in. Come alone with a book you've been meaning to finish. Come with a friend and sit in comfortable silence. Come to meet someone new over a shared read. However you show up, you're welcome here. This is your permission slip to do less and enjoy it more.
