Ahead of the Open Street's Season 7,  The 31st Avenue Open Street Collective is hosting a happy hour social for all who want to know more about Astoria's beloved, warm weather weekend hangout and how to get involved. All are welcome — veteran volunteers, new neighbors and cute dogs!

Meet some of the 100+ organizers, programmers, volunteers of Astoria's favorite Open Street! Enjoy snacks and happy hour, learn how to get involved and be the first to hear what's happening for the upcoming 2026 season!

It's a kick-off party to meet, mix & mingle -- our friends at Heart of Gold will be offering drink specials and have a food menu. We'll briefly interrupt everyone's time to give an overview and history of the program, introduce current volunteers and their roles, release details about upcoming programming and answer your questions about how to be part of the team. This event is open to all.
