🌊☀️ Join us for the First Annual Hurst Street Fellowship River Float! ☀️🌊 📍 Meet at: Texas Tubes (address linked above) 📅 When: 12:00 pm on October 3rd 🚗 Plan: 9:00 am — leave Houston! Plan for a 3 hour drive there, so try to carpool with friends! 12:00 pm — we’ll grab lunch together nearby and get everyone together (restaurant will be sent here closer to day of) 1:00 pm — Head to Texas Tubes and launch together for the 3 hour float 5:30 pm — dinner together 7:00 pm — head home! (or don’t 👀🕺) Cost and Notes : We’re spending the day on the Comal River! Bring your cooler, snacks, drinks, and all your friends! Tubes are $25/person and are first come first serve. See the river rules at the link above so you’re ready to hit the water with the group. 📸 Bring a waterproof phone case if you want to take pictures! We can’t wait to make this the start of a new GBC tradition. See y’all on the river! 🌊😎 🌙 Staying the night? Some of us aren’t driving back after dinner — we’re heading to Gruene Hall (oldest dance hall in Texas, live music, boots optional) and crashing in New Braunfels. If you’ve never gone, it’s a must visit. Hotels are on you, but rooms split 2–4 ways get cheap fast, I’d recommend booking near Gruene hall, the tube rental place is within a 12 minute drive We’d love to have a big crew for this part at Gruene Hall — but the float itself is the main event, so no pressure if you’re heading home at 7.
