ALTERATIONS: AN ARTIST ROUND TABLE is taking place in lieu of our monthly Show & Tell structure. Here's what to expect for July! The theme is ALTERATIONS, welcoming photographs that have been physically transformed through collage, cutting, tearing, weaving, stitching, painting, drawing, transfers, cyanotypes, darkroom experimentation, layering, embroidery, etc. Please NO AI images for this gathering. This will be structured a bit differently than our typical Show & Tell gathering with the intention that everyone who brings work can share and the focus will be on engaging with a variety of creative processes. Rather than focusing on critique, we'll spend the evening in conversation about process, experimentation, materials, etc. Please note, this event is for women, nonbinary, trans, and gender expansive artists working within a lens based medium. Here's how it will work: - Mingling & arrivals start at 6:00 pm. - Roundtable starts at 6:30 pm. Please try to arrive by 6:30 pm. - Bring physical images / prints to share with the community. - This event is open to all "levels." Beginners and photo-curious folks welcome! Cost: $20!
