RECLAIM: Bad Rosé 📅 Sunday, March 8 |🕑 1:45 – 5:30 PM | 📍 Bandaloop Studios, Oakland RECLAIM is a daytime dance party for people who are BIPOC, Queer, or both! Bad Rosé curates dance experiences with the goal of creating energetic, inclusive spaces where dancers lead the vibe and the music follows. Her sets invite release, unified movement, and deep presence on the dancefloor.  Expect bass-heavy rhythms, playful grooves, and genre-crossing moments. As a proud Filipina and member of the LGBTQ+ community- Bad Rosé brings her lived experience and heart-centered activism into everything she does. Beyond the decks she is engaged in social justice work with unhoused and at-risk youth-grounding her artistry in compassion, equity, and community empowerment. Her love for plants, animals, and the earth shapes the way she approaches both activism and the dance floor -as living ecosystems rooted in connection, resilience, and collective well-being. At RECLAIM, the music takes you on a journey of expression and connection. We start slow, giving you time to warm up your body and settle into the space. As the rhythm builds, the energy rises, and you'll feel your blood pumping as genres shift, and new movements emerge. We end slow again, so we can settle our bodies and soak in all that we created together. This is a dance party— and--it’s a remembering of joy, of resistance, of being alive together. A place for BIPOC and/or QUEER communities to come together in bliss and depth.
