Hi all,
Join our group of active friends for some paddleboarding, kayaking, music. I’d like to have a lot of people and link the boards together!
Schedule:
10:30 AM | Meet on the sand, inflate/unload boards, and prep gear.
10:50 AM | Back Bay Launch — Group paddle through the calm waters
12:15 PM | Head back to the beach, dry off, and stow gear.
12:30 PM | Grass Lawn Social — Post-paddle hang
There’s a paddleboard and kayak shop right at where the address is. If you have your own gear, you’ll set up here.
Parking: You can park inside the Newport Dunes complex for a fee or park for free on the street outside of the complex gates. The beach is near the bridge with a brightly decorated gazebo, tables, chairs, flags, kayaks and of course paddleboards.
Checklist:
Life Jackets (PFDs): Required by law and safety! Wear it or have it secured to your vessel.
Sun Protection: Reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses (use a floating strap!), and a hat.
Hydration & Snacks: Bring plenty of water in a reusable bottle and light, quick energy snacks.

Water Etiquette & Rules
Stay Alert: Yield to larger motorboats and stick close to the shoreline when possible.
Pack It In, Pack It Out: Leave no trace—keep all trash secured in your boat.
Buddy System: Stay within eye level of the group; no rogue lone-wolf paddling!
