For the first and only time ever at least until the next time that it happens, aci-d club and Reality Tasting are joining forces.
aci-d club is a way of being disguised as a playground disguised as a design club. We do weekly hangs, monthly field trips, occasional workshops, talks, and happenings such as this.
Reality Tasting is an interactive speaking series where people talk about things they like and get really specific about how. Andrew has been hosting it for about a year, and so far no one has asked him to stop.
We are very excited for this night's speakers:
- Henry Zhu on walking a long way
- Andrés Cuervo on hobbling a short way + the weird world of improvised mobility tools
- Jiamin Ren on the unintended lives of consumer goods
The talks will invite active engagement, so please only come if you're game for that.
They will start at 8 and will be 20ish minutes each plus questions, and afterward we'll hang out.
Bring a friend! Bring a date! Don't... be late.
Tickets are $10-20. If that would prohibit you, pay what you can and come. Venmo: @AS-Blevins.
(Our considered conjecture is that this could be a conspiracy contrived by confused contractors of the Context Appreciation Society.)
