Westminster Elementary School Gardening Workshop

Join the Good Karma Gardens crew for the next work day at the Westminster Elementary School garden! We are a grassroots movement and project under the amazing nonprofit NourishLA with the goal of replacing lawns with biodiverse food jungles in community/private spaces in our community. Check out our Instagram @GoodKarmaGardens ❤️ We will be creating an edible/native food forest in the area adjacent to the existing school garden. 🌱 In support of those affected by the fires, this will also be a collection spot for donations of food and supplies. Please bring whatever you can and we will organize the delivery to those in need! Our friend Matt Van Diepen, founder of the local and sustainable landscaping company Home Grown Gardens, will guide us through a tree planting workshop and discussion of the synergistic benefits of a food forest model.
