* Comfortable clothing which you do not mind getting a bit rumpled is suggested
* Long pants are strongly encouraged
* Plan on bringing a sweatshirt or light jacket (just in case)
* Closed-toe & Closed-heel shoes required (sneakers or workboots recommended)
* Flip-flops, crocs, sandles, and heels are all prohibited
Please plan on arriving 10 minutes prior to the shift start time to check-in. Orientation begins promptly at the start of the shift. Late volunteers may be unable to serve.
Ndeewo! Please join us this month as we collaborate with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to assist those who are struggling with food insecurity. We've been asked volunteer at their Hunger Action Center. We will be inspecting, sorting, and packing quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia. Additionally, feel free to bring any nonperishable food items that you may want to donate.
