A celebration of smooth domes, shiny scalps, buzzed heads, and anyone who wants to celebrate baldness. I just shaved my head for the very first time, and it’s a huge change for me, so I’m marking the moment with a community Baldbeque. I’ll have some burgers, hot dogs, snacks, drinks, and music ready. If you want to bring something to share — food, drinks, dessert, or your signature chaotic side dish — please do. This is a BYOB event. This is also a gender‑inclusive, hair‑optional zone. Bald by choice, bald by genetics, bald‑curious, or just bald‑supportive — everyone’s welcome. I’ve got a few bald caps for anyone who wants to join the shine (light and dark tone), and you’re absolutely welcome to bring your own. If you’ve got hair on top, it’s encouraged (but not required) that you cover it so we can achieve maximum collective smoothness. Shower caps, hats, and helmets will work just fine. Let's see how many planes we can down by blinding pilots after assembling into one giant mirror. Please note that this is a public event, so you'll probably see some new faces. Friends of friends are welcome. Whether or not you already know anyone else, be respectful of one another and don’t be obnoxious or belligerent. Have fun, be kind, and maybe even make some new bald friends. Come hang out, eat good food, and help me debut the new look with style, silliness, and a whole lot of glow (like the big, bald moon).
