Get ready for an unforgettable summer evening at the 49 Forever Summer Series! An intimate outdoor house concert featuring Stephen Peter Rodgers on Saturday, July 25. The fabulous Jen Howard opening. Doors open at 5 PM and music starts at 6 PM. This is Steve’s only local solo show this summer, so we’re making it a special one! Chances are, you’ve heard Steve Rodgers before. He’s a Connecticut-based songwriter, producer, and longtime performer whose music blends Americana, folk, country, and indie rock with honest storytelling and a heartfelt, nostalgic sound. His songs are personal, thoughtful, and easy to connect with especially in a relaxed, close-up setting where you’ll actually hear the stories behind them. BYO everything: drinks, snacks, lawn chairs or picnic blankets. To keep the evening relaxed and focused on the music, this event is best for adults and older teens. (We’re also giving a shout out to Liz for her birthday and commitment to staying 49 forever!) It’s a private outdoor space, so RSVP is required if you’re planning to come.
